Solidworks installer. I have ran windows update and checked all drivers that everything is up to date.My first problem is that the install manager will not work. When I open the setup the manager starts, but there is only a clean window with the usual 'solidworks' banner on top. I have tried different solutions by google'ing the problem, but nothing seems to help.

I hate to be pedantic but.You can update the Item Attributes by loading the items through the ItemOpen Interface, not the Transaction Interface, in update mode and applyingan Item template you have created with the relevant Attribute values set.The Attributes listed can be changed while there is stock on hand. If youcan change them through the form you can change them using the interface.Refer to the Manufacturing Interfaces Manual.Regards,From:'Rakesh Devalapally via oracle-apps-l'To:Robin Casson/GBR/CSC@CSCDate: 14:33Subject:RE:oracle-apps-l Master Items mass updatePosted by Rakesh Devalapally (Member Technical)on Jun 16 at 8:50 AMMark as helpfulYou can make use of the Transactions open interface for updating the itemattributes at once.
However, you will need to get the onhand quantity ofthe items to zero before updating the item attributes. Use API to update the items. From: [email protected]: email@removedSubject: Re: oracle-apps-l Master Items mass updateDate: Wed, 16 Jun 2010 15:40:36 +0300Posted by Gergana (Oracle Logistic Consultant)on Jun 16 at 8:39 AM Mark as helpfulToolbox oracle-apps-lThe easiest way is to use DataLoad Program. From: masouda via oracle-apps-lSent: Wednesday, June 16, 2010 2:45 PMTo: GerganaSubject: oracle-apps-l Master Items mass updatePosted by masoudaon Jun 16 at 7:44 AMWe have a business requirements to mass update the following attributes for 1000+ inventory items. Wouldn't this have any negative impact on the items updated.- For option#2 do you have a scrip that can be used to load the item into the item interface table? If yes; I would appreciate if you can share it with me. Instead of updating the itemsb table directly please consider loading or running a script to populate the inventory items interface table and running the concurrent program 'Import Items' to process your change.Would also suggest you mark your load to the interface with something unique across all skus just in case someone else in your organization is also updating skus via the import function. We used this very successfully - just depending on the number of skus be aware of downstream impacts eg system latency with reporting systems.
